This proposal involved the conversion of a range
of listed barns and the erection of four new
dwellings in the conservation village of Eakring.
The local authority refused permission for the
proposal but we successfully challenged the
decision at a Public Inquiry and permission was

proposal hit the press when we exposed the
Council's application of a 'secret' policy which
it had relied upon to refuse permission, contray to
its own Local Plan policies. We won a full award
of costs against Newark & Sherwood District
Council on behalf of our client.
