Outline planning permission was secured for the
redevelopment of a former farmstead which had
been used for over ten years for commercial
purposes. Permission was granted following the
submission of evidence to the Council that the
buildings had been occupied for non-agricultural

uses which resulted in the site gaining previously
developed land status. A new access to the site
was negotiated directly with the Highway Authority
and planning approval was ultimately secured at
Mansfield District Council's planning committee.
